I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll purchase a Mjolnir 3 for the same reason, despite owning the wonderful space heater that is the Mjolnir 1. The only thing that may save me is if they sell out before I return from my trip to South Korea in late August / early September.

Yep, there was a repair form in the box. Problem was a cooked heater connection so they removed the molex and soldered it directly to the board. You can see the connection through one of the vents.

@zach915m , for those of us who own a Macassar Ebony Atrium, which polish do you recommend? I've seen Osmo, Mohawk, and Martin Guitar polishes mentioned in various threads, but I am unsure which would be best for the finish that was used on the Macassar Ebony Atriums.

Well, it looks like my Folkvangr just went down - no lights, no tube glow, but I can hear clicking when I turned it off (as opposed to tube cooldown noise). Total runtime: roughly 440 hours, serial number 350234. Time to initiate a repair.

My HD 800 S arrived today and I can confirm that it’s a solid pairing with the FV as well.

I’m using an older ddHiFi adapter without any issues to go from 4.4mm to 4-pin XLR.

I found that Hart's XLR connector doesn't fit quite as well as the Neutrik nc-mxx or Furutech FP-705M(R) connectors I have on my other cables and adapters.

I’ve entertained the idea, but my Gungnir Multibit > Folkvangr > Atrium chain does an excellent job for the music I enjoy. Any amplifier upgrade would be substantially more expensive.

When used in moderation as a detail, I think the yellow adds something. And like others have said, a black and yellow motif is rather striking.
