Cayin RU7: 1-Bit Resistor Network Dongle DAC /Amp
I personally like the price hike, i hate the fact that the components are compressed in order to sell better. What I'm looking forward to this dongle is a direct Mojo2 killer.- kellustzall

Luxury & Precision (LP) W4, Successor to Their Popular W1/W2 USB Dongle is Here!
I just say that because the game LP are playing is there, they have to be better than 200$ dongles or else they fail. That's also what the consumers want with this release.- kellustzall

Luxury & Precision (LP) W4, Successor to Their Popular W1/W2 USB Dongle is Here!
This in house chip better be at least as good as Chord's Mojo 2 chip, or else I have no interest in this product.- kellustzall

Schiit Audio Bifrost 2
Hi, I was thinking of a mid end DAC solution, just purely on the DAC performance, what would you guys think the Mojo 2 or the Bifrost 2/64 is a better DAC? I've heard they're pretty on par to each other but still can't decide yet....Thanks!- kellustzall

Cayin N7: A Voyager of Unexplored Frontier
Yeah, that's what I thought too, the 109 are very easy to drive, but I also have a plan to buy the Atrium and want to drive both of them properly. Thanks for the reply!- kellustzall

Cayin N7: A Voyager of Unexplored Frontier
Hello, I'm looking for a upper-mid end game for my Meze 109 Pro, the Cayin N7 seems to be an interesting choice. Should I buy a full-fledged stack (Bifrost 2/64 and ifi Pro Ican Sig come to mind) or just this small cute but mighty DAP like this?- kellustzall

I would suggest trying out the ifi Pro ican Signature, other than the already lovely Violectric amps.- kellustzall

Details also depend on the amount of understanding of music in reality of the listeners. People who spend lots of time surrounded in and consciously researching how eventful actual sonic enviroments are, usually have more "realistic" hearing ability over someone who listen the gears purely by...- kellustzall

Violectric V222 and V202
SE output from a fully ballanced design of the circuitry can always be benefited from it, compared to the single ended design of the 202. Aside from obvious beefier output power, that might result into some slight change in sound quality, personally I've not had the chance to do comparisons yet.- kellustzall

Meze Audio 109 Pro
The word "marketing" is heavily abused in the worst way possible. How the hell are you going to sell your products to consumers without marketing? Post some cryptic ass images on Twitter and be just sure that everyone will buy them? Isn't that a bit...rude? Do you think that being dishonest and...- kellustzall

System synergy. Build a stack that have zero air or tame down/sweeten the amount of high energy. Or maybe just learn to appreciate the heaphones' characteristic, it's not like they have an obvious upper frequencies shelf like a pair of Arya, nor they sound as plasticky as them.- kellustzall

Even more so now that they have the go-to EF400 for everyone who owns their sub 1000$ headphones that ensure those headphones will sound *chef kiss* on that combo. Seriously a steal.- kellustzall

I bet whoever said that was probably thinking about your wallet. I guess his or her point of view was like "headphones will make biggest changes in the system" and "top 3 budget hi-fi systems that don't cost an arm and leg" and "you only need a pair of HD 6XX because they're 80% of listening...- kellustzall

Well it doesn't take a pair of 109 Pro to recognize the difference between the dongle and dedicated external DAC+amp. A pair of HD560S or HD 6XX is more than enough.- kellustzall

The Clear and their big brother Utopia despite having such neutral FR but still attack the listeners with their active and aggressive manner. While the ZMF and Meze just be there and do their thing.- kellustzall

Meze Audio 109 Pro
It's because I wasn't talking about tonality. When I say "planars that don't want to stab you in the face", I mean their presentation. Headphones that don't have spicy treble or shouty mid or bloomy bass can still possibly be fatiguing. It's the way they deliver their technicality combined with...- kellustzall

Meze Audio 109 Pro
This will not be your end game for sure, but it doesn't mean they're not great. The 109 are meant to used as a daily driver, as they walk a very fine line between technicality, tonality and practicality, in that sense, yes, they're your "end game". The Arya and Clear and even the LCD X are a bit...- kellustzall
