Selling my prized Sony's because even though I can wear them comfortable for a decent amount of time I still find myself reaching for the MDR-Z1R 95% of the time. These are around 6 months old and come with everything including the pamphlet inside and all tips even though the photos are missing...

I'll check out that fiio for sure. Im almost positive my Sonos is hooked up via hdmi so I should have optical free. the d03k seems like it would work with a zen v2 pretty well.

guess I need to give it a shot. Wish there was a way to hook up something directly to the oled so that I could listen while switching sources. Being able to watch movies is a good start though. Thanks!

interesting. I have a shield thats about 2 years old and and LG Oled thats last years model. Do you notice any lag using LDAC?

MDR-Z1R is extremely comfortable even for a big dome like mine

+1 I have the IE300 and they fit pretty flush inside the ear and are extremely comfortable. I personally use Bose Sleepbuds II for sleep but you can't use them for music, its only preprogrammed sleep sounds.

If you mentioned Beats over AirPods I'd totally understand. AirPods aren't just marketing. I have thousands of dollars of headphones but the AirPods see a ton of use because of how convenient they are. Nothing beats the user experience of them paired with an iPhone for convenience on the go...
