I game on my Valhalla primarily. Tubes can get pricey gaming on the FV. I have tried it and can agree on it's greatness though.

I've been mulling over my next headphone purchase. I currently have the HD600, I think they lack a little bit of speed. So I've been thinking of going planar, but I've also heard great things with Grados.

For those that have shipped their Folkvangr back for repairs. How did you package it securely. I unfortunately no longer have the original packaging.

I've used two different sources, phono stage and DAC. My current theory is that it only occurs with the amp at low gain. I have to do more testing to confirm though.

My Folkvangr has a problem with audio cutting out for ~25 seconds every 45 minutes or so. I've tried both 300 ohm and 32 ohm headphones and still have the issue.
