I would choose them over any other pads if I didn't use EQ. They boost the mid range by a meaningful amount so as to balance the mid bass boost.

The stock pads are leather. My ported pads are suede, which is significantly more comfortable.

Has anyone come across an adapter to plug up the bass ports on the ported pads?

I'd like to try the V6 Vivid opamps in my Burson Playmate 2. Do I need to replace both the Singles and Duals? I read somewhere that replacing the Singles will make the biggest difference but I don't know how true this is. Appreciate any advice!

It will sound great. You don't need a 15k setup to make a headphone sound like itself.

Anyone looking for a portable for the Diana I can recommend the QLS MUB1. It drives my V2 at 55% volume in the highest gain setting (balanced). Sounds great too!
