ZMF Auteur advice
Thought i would check the specs of my HPA. I was assured by the manufacturer that it would drive the Auteurs no problem. Headphone Impedance Range: 8 ohms to 600 ohms (or higher) Recommended Input Level: 150mV to 3.0V (1-2.0V recommended) Preamplifier Output Level: 500mV / 1.0V / 2.0V (adjusted...- Progmeister

New headband cover for Oppo PM-3
My Oppo PM-3's are my work horse cans and as a result are showing signs of ware on the headband cushion. These appear to be a sealed structure and not easily user replacable. Can anyone advise me if there is anywhere in the UK that could refurbish the headband for me? All suggestions welcome.- Progmeister

Me too. However, I must try to think of a better way of configuration as I am concerned I forget to turn down the volume on the Freya when not using the headphone amp which is connected to the pre out phono's on the rear of the Freya.- Progmeister

NJC Reference HPA
Some pieces of kit you spend thousands of pounds or dollars on only to be disappointed in the sound of build quality, so, when you spend just over £400 on some thing purporting to be reference standard you shake your head with a knowing smirk whilst thinking to yourself "yer, right!". I refer...- Progmeister

Schiit Freya Impressions and Tube Rolling Thread
I think the microphonic nature of the casing on the Schiit Freya II is the thing that needs addressing most. i use some Usher feet and a sandbag to reduce resonance. I would like to know if anyone has connected a HPA to the Pre-out on this amp and if so did they experience any hum?- Progmeister
