I stopped using the BT30 because the lack of bass is really annoying to me. I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of UTSW3 in hopes these will be my last effort to convert my IEMS to true wireless.

The IE 400 are more v-shaped than neutral but the treble isn’t too harsh to my ears the the vocals are warm (maybe even too warm where they might sound slightly muffled or veiled). That said, my ears quickly adjust and it’s fine.

Question to FiiO, are the UTWS5 discontinued? Seems they’re sold out everywhere and if they’re in stock, they’re over the MSRP price.

I’m not going to go through all that trouble when I could just plug my headphones in. However, I still want true wireless IE 300s so I just ordered the TRN BT30. Crossing my fingers that this one doesn’t have the distortion issue.

The IE 300s fit in the case just fine and I was super pumped because I always wanted true wireless IE 300s, but not if they're gonna sound like crap. Do you know if the other TRN true wireless adapters have distortion issues?

Don't get the BT20XS. I just got them and there's so much distortion no matter what volume you set them at. Sad.

Do you get any distortion with these? I just bought a pair and there's crazy distortion, but if I plug the IEMs back into their wires, the distortion is gone and they sound good again.

Just got these as well and immediately noticed the stupid distortion issue. Ugh. Confirmed by plugging my IEMs back into their cable and the signal was nice and clean. No distortion to be found. That sucks.

Is the IE 900 cable sticky for you too? Like when you go to coil it up, does it try to stick to itself? It’s such a weird material to make a cable out of. The IE Pro series black cable is a soft, smooth rubber (like the same feeling as their HD 660s cables.

That’s a good question. I sent back an IE 300 and IE 400 Pro so there were no serial numbers on the case.

I’ve done 2 warranty claims so far and I always just send the IEMs and the cable. They usually send back a brand new set or refurbished set, so you’ll probably get an extra case and extra accessories

I had the 560s for a little while and some songs I loved with them and others were just way too harsh. They were ultimately too trebly for me. Good bass extension, but overall lean sounding and too much treble.

Can anyone from Sennheiser give an estimate of when the twisted MMCX cable will be available to purchase separately??

I wouldn’t void the warranty on such an expensive item. Heck, I can’t even bring myself to cut the collars off my IE 300 even though I have 2 pairs that I got for $100 each.
