It is actually too large for my head. I have one of the Audeze suspension straps on it attached with an elastic hair band on each side. It doesn't look great and I have to readjust it fairly often. I will look into the ZMF copilot. Thanks for that suggestion.

Has anyone on here added a suspension strap to the HE-6 or would anyone have any ideas on how to add one without damaging or altering the headphones?

Hello. How is the fit of these on the head? I have a more narrow head and some headphones tend to be somewhat loose fitting. For comparison, I had the Sennheiser HD6XX for a short time and those fit well. They were slightly tight but it was fine.

I also have this DAC. I have it paired with a Topping A90. My Hifiman HE-6's sound outstanding with this setup.

They can still be found at fair prices. I recently bought a mint condition 4 screw EP for just over $1,000. I couldn't bring myself to play close to $2,000 for one when you sometimes see the Focal Utopia selling for a little over $2,000 and it's a $4400 headphone when bought new.
