I’ve found it incredibly easy to power these. They’re at about 10 o’clock on my Magni 2 on Low Power

Got mine today.. the stock tips do not seal well for me, but I swapped to the orange and blues and the bass was improved a ton. I’m new to IEMs, so I’m forever swapping tips trying to decide what I like and don’t like. Overall I’m happy with them, they sound much better than my Chu’s so far

I got some B stock LCD2C’s last year and can’t find any defects at all except if you hold it at a certain angle in the light you can see the paint is barely uneven at the top of the earcup.. was definitely well worth the price which was the same as the above poster’s

I think the Reveal plug-in does a pretty good job of making these a little more neutral.. I don’t bother with the various EQ’s people have made

I have LCD2C’s with the new pads and I’ve never had an issue with my ears touching. I’m shocked anyone has this issue

so you’re telling me that a cable can change the way the headphone is tuned? To me that just doesn’t make any sense. The driver is tuned to a certain frequency response, and the driver makes the sound. You’re telling me that the cable that delivers the driver the current can completely override...

As far as I know, there are no measurements that show differences in cables. I could see how SE vs Balanced cables would make a difference 100%, but 2 working SE cables should sound the exact same AFAIK. Do you have any measurements?

I really don’t think you’re going to hear a difference in cables. The stock cable is just fine.

This guy spam posts claiming the LCD2C are somehow garbage without EQ, but “endgame” with EQ. He’s just regurgitating other peoples opinions. Zeos, Crin, whoever. No chance a headphone can “sound like garbage” without EQ but somehow be “end game” with EQ.

Speaking of the strap. I use my LCD-2C with one yoke on the 3rd notch and one on the 4th, will my strap stretch out unevenly because of this??
