Hmmm I tried those on my Neo5 but size M is not giving a good isolation for some weird reasons. All my other eartips in size M are perfect with Neo5 except for the Coreir Brass. I might have to try bigger size. For now I find Dunu S&S a perfect match for these and also Spinfits W1

Yeah btw I received mine just of two days and I can vouch that S4 sounds better with Neo5 and that had to be the first choice of cable. It complements it perfectly 🙂

I never used 3.5 but out of the 4.4 it sounds grand. And I use BTR 7 as my go-to DAC amp. It has pitch black noise and pairs well with most of my IEMs. I sold my BTR 5 21 so I can't comment on it, although I believe BTR 7 is better. Never heard the Penon tail but there are great reviews on it too 😉

I will have mine soon, can't wait really 😊 At this point I don't have any other 2pin cable except for Zetian Wu's stock cable, Purple SE and some graphene cable from IvipQ I guess it will make a difference after all. I do like Penon/ISN cables but I have some in MMCX

The hs18 are truly one of the most comfortable tips I tried, I used them on my TWS when sleeping lol. But if I have to choose between cp145 and W1 I would go with W1 cause they're also super comfortable and don't accentuate the sound. You might consider moondrop spring tips. Never tried them but...

Depends what you're after - comfort vs sound Fiio's are really comfortable and practically they disappear in the ears but as for sound they kill off some of the bass I would go for either Spinfits 145 or you could as well get the W1 which are also very comfortable with minimum accentuate on sound

I trust @Dsnuts judgement as well, I'm sure it's gonna be a nice upgrade to the stock cable

Yes it's totally addictive! I'm not considering myself an audiophile but a music lover and a hobbyist. Well not a musician either but I can tell the difference in every set I own. Particularly, Neo 5 sounds so full and weighty. I really enjoy them a lot:)
