The thing with a stepped attenuator is not the sensitivity of an IEM used but sound dropping out while changing steps (there is nothing you can do with this) and not that big steps amount to match exactly your desired volume (24, but it also have +/- controls, so was not an issue for me).- Alexzander

Yep, tried with Traillii, what aspects are you interested about? When driven through a good Android phone, Mac or PC it sounded almost like DX320 MAX on Gain 2. The background is black, sound is quite technical with noticeable sub bass boost and a bit of highs highlighting, the scene is very...- Alexzander

Well, regularly winters are much more mild there than what you described, a -20 C degree is considered to be cold, and I’ve remember having -30 C only few times in my whole life here, so not sure that I would go along with regular -40 C if it was like this too often 😂- Alexzander

@Kunal1991 a lot of guys would probably disagree including infamous @drftr , but I would say that Aroma Jewel has the best quality of the bass in the game right now (quantity wise bassheads could desire more of course). And I would not pick up Z1R as a total package for its price due to recessed...- Alexzander

Please do make a comparison between 74E and Traillii if you review this new Canpur model! I had a feeling that 54E didn’t fall short compared to the Bird in terms of technicalities but maybe lacked some magic in its presentation.- Alexzander

Ok as Oriolus seem to raise their price for Traillii in Japan to 7.2k USD$ I’m ready to sell mine used just for the old price of 6.5k USD$. Cash only via courier pigeon.- Alexzander

I found it to be very comfortable too - didn’t feel it weight at all. And despite being rather thick it was kinda soft and pliable, stayed on my ears quite well.- Alexzander

In the current moment of time I would not recommend buying C9 at all. Paired with N8ii to my taste C9 only worsened the sound signature without adding much power. Plus Cayin is working on new iteration of it, but besides that there are plenty of other interesting options like Tsuranagi.- Alexzander

While I’ve listened to almost everything I wanted to during Amsterdam meetup there are still few things I would to try or spend more time with: 1. Dita Project M - curious how it would sound together with N7, but currently it’s impossible to audition or buy locally. Highs were a bit too much...- Alexzander
