In another reply below I covered this. Apos was, eventually, great about replacing the full cost of these because it was their fault for filling the order wrong. They shipped me the older non-stealth version instead of what I paid for, the Stealth Revision.

I think I got a real unicorn pair of Sundaras. They’re wonderful. That’s why I stated twice that I thought I didnt have ‘em long enough to burn in properly. They probably would have livened up more with time. I was just so disappointed they sounded so muted out of the box.

That’s funny. I have those old Sony MDRV 6 phones in a dead pile in my closet. As soon as I bought some replacement ear pads for them many years ago I bought some new Grado 225s and forgot the Sonys!
