Burson Conductor 3 Performance & Conductor 3X Performance

One question about Soloist 3X, can i change the output just unplugging the headphones and hear my monitors on preamp output, or do i have to go to the menu every time :frowning2: ? if it goes that way how many steps do i have to change the output ?

iFi audio - Introducing the ZEN DAC Signature V2 and ZEN CAN Signature HFM, Perfectly Balanced As All Things Should Be!

I had a similar problem with Asgard 3, I bought a regular electrical extension cord, removed the grounding from it and connected it without grounding, no hiss at all. But maybe that's another problem

iFi audio - Introducing the ZEN DAC Signature V2 and ZEN CAN Signature HFM, Perfectly Balanced As All Things Should Be!

Hi, thank you for the great review :L3000: what DAC do you use in Asgard 3 -> Ananda, Arya configuration? What DAC do you think would be the best in this set?

    Hifiman Ananda

I know, I know it's 2x more, but this hobby is expensive. I am waiting for more reviews for the Arya stealth magnet, it seems promising :L3000:

For me, the LCD-X are unacceptable in terms of comfort, too heavy, and tend to slide over your head when you move your head. They also sound unnatural in my opinion, but it's a matter of taste.

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone

I am currently using Ananda on an Asgard 3, the sound is too dry for my taste, I miss some body and a little more bass. I considered replacing it with the Edition X V2, but I don't want to lose resolution and air and I'm not sure if it would be a good choice and if the difference would be...

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone

@Neweymatt Have you tried Meze Empyrean on Asgard 3 and Bifrost 2? what with synergy, isn't that too warm sound? Do you think it would be better to combine it with something more neutral and analytical?

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone

I just tried Audeze LCD-X 2021 and Meze Empyrean. It is incomparable. Empyrean is two shelves above. There is space, there is a stage, there is detail, but most importantly it is a very natural sound, unlike the LCD-X, which sound unnatural to me. My only problem is that I can't afford it :(
