Hi, this is the first time I saw an LCD "work" like this. Basically as you can see in the photo, the album art and all the details on the screen is shown, but the LCD is technically "off". I don't know if this can be fixed via software. Just imagine if Zishan can disable this, maybe battery life...

My screen has a plastic screen protector. I think every z4 has plastic in both screen and back. You can peel it off

How do you play dsd? I have dsd 128 but cannot play in z4

I hope this will help. After transferring, I press the middle button on my z4 so that the screen lights up, after that, eject the z4 in you PC. In this way the player will not freeze after ejecting it and goes back to main menu without error.

I experienced not very similar, but something to add about issues in dac mode. I am using it with foobar2k when suddenly the musics stops, then play again from the start. Foobar gave a notification about too large buffer size, even though the buffer size is the recommended. I lowered the buffer...

Okay now I'm confused.... 5 days ago during testing tracks, z4 shows 16bit for my 24bit files. Now, playing the same 24bit files, zishan shows 32bits. Is this some sort of a firmware problem?

I have the z4 but I'm afraid using my charger to charge the device. Is it okay to use 2.4A 5V charger for z4?

Tested it, all ports are inverted. Including line out
