[FiiO BTR7] Portable Bluetooth Amplifier, Color IPS display,High-performance DAC ES9219C*2,THX AAA-28*2 amps,3.5+4.4mm outputs,One-click “dongle” mode

Thanks for the explaination. I`m a bit confused by this too. In his Qudelix 5K measurement he let the power rise until there is a very sharp increase in distortion. The graph from the BTR7 tests looks like he stopped earlier in comparison. Am I wrong?

[FiiO BTR7] Portable Bluetooth Amplifier, Color IPS display,High-performance DAC ES9219C*2,THX AAA-28*2 amps,3.5+4.4mm outputs,One-click “dongle” mode

@FiiO Did you hear back from your develpoment team already if this feature will make it to the roadmap? Not knowing if this will be implemented in future firmware/app-versions holds me back from buying and probably others as well. Thank you and greetings Markus

[FiiO BTR7] Portable Bluetooth Amplifier, Color IPS display,High-performance DAC ES9219C*2,THX AAA-28*2 amps,3.5+4.4mm outputs,One-click “dongle” mode

Hi @FiiO: At least 5 custom banks, the more the better. Actually your competitor Qudelix has plenty of them and I reserved one for each of my IEMs / "portable" headphones + it is usefull to have a few extra slots in order to quickly A/B test different settings. It would be also fine, if the...

Hi there How many Custom PEQ can be saved in the application? I`d need a couple for different cans. Thank you!

Senheiser IE 600 impressions and discussion.

@shiftywxm I owned the IE300 and upgraded to the IE600 without any regrets. The balance between bass and mids is much better on the IE600 in my opinion. Overall it is providing a better perception of details and "clarity". The bass is still mighty and it remains to be a fun sound signature like...

Senheiser IE 600 impressions and discussion.

I`m in the IE600 club too now :) To me they are almost perfect for an everyday&everywhere IEM: - Detailed and visceral sound. Simply a "fun" sound signature, but still on a high technical level. Nothing is really lacking here. - The elevated bass and treble region make them sound great outside...

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies

Hi there! Has anyone actually killed his 64Audio IEMs with the normal 2-pin connectors due to excessive sweating / salt? I know... it`s better to take no risk and to be careful with these expensive items, but I`m curious if the nightmare happened in reality :-o Maybe 64audio has seen such...

Thank you... But believe me, you`ll like my shoes better than my naked feet :D @bcowen  Somehow the basotect mats did not fit in between my ears and the headphones cups, so I had to put them on the wall  And actually I generally prefer my minidsp studio for room...

Added a new sideboard to my room and a TV. The Topping headphone combo went there too, so it doubles as a TV & music listening spot. To the right I store my overear headphones. The ugly grey things are basotect absorbers that help to reduce reflections when listening to speakers.

Burson Soloist 3X Performance Head/Pre Amp - 8Wpc XLR with MUSE72320 volume control

It took a while but the german distributor is going to send me four new op-amps (he said they come in matched pairs) Can anyone confirm this? I always thought, this is only relevant for tubes because they have such large tolerances?! Asking because 3 of the 4 old ones should be fine and I don`t...

Burson Soloist 3X Performance Head/Pre Amp - 8Wpc XLR with MUSE72320 volume control

Thank you. I also received a reply from bursons support (on a sunday...within minutes... not bad!) suggesting the same test. I`ve done that and it seems like the problem went away. So one of the opamps seems to be be bad guy.

Burson Soloist 3X Performance Head/Pre Amp - 8Wpc XLR with MUSE72320 volume control

Hi, I recently discovered that my unit produces some amount of static noise on the right channel. Sometimes there`s a "pop" and the noise comes and goes. I don`t see any clear pattern besides that it is only on the right channel and I think when the amp was switched on for some time already I...

    Softears RS10 vs 64 Audio u18t

I own the U12T and had the RS10 here for a week. These two at least are quite different (check 3-4K region below). I`m not a mixer/producer though. In my opinion the RS10 is much more resolving an to my ears sounds more neutral. I`d go for the RS10 in this comparison if I was after detail /...

Definitely increase the volume on the computer, lower the volume on the amp. I would only switch to a higher gain mode, if I have to. Higher gain means higher noise floor!

Looks nice, indeed! What cable do you use with your Sennheisers? Seems to be very soft and evenly woven.

Burson Soloist 3X Performance Head/Pre Amp - 8Wpc XLR with MUSE72320 volume control

I had to use the translation function in my browser too. But yes, it seems that it does not have the best measurements in the noise department, it really needs warm-up because there`s a realtively big DC offset in the first 10-15 minutes after power-on and the upgraded power supply...

Burson Soloist 3X Performance Head/Pre Amp - 8Wpc XLR with MUSE72320 volume control

Have these measurement been posted already? https://www.l7audiolab.com/f/burson-soloist-3x/ The large DC offset values in the warm-up phase of the am (last three charts) concern me. And I don`t wantl to wait 10-15 minutes before using it after power-on. hmmm

I know it`s too late, but also with the standard plastic case and passive heat sinks you won`t run into any problems either. A cooling case is actually not neccesary. If you ever plan to use Bluetooth on the Pi (i.e. with Ropieee XL) an metal case is not ideal, since there is no external...
