Sounds random. If it was me I would update to 1.42 using a PC. Hope it all works out. I’ve found all these devices need burping from time to time. Good luck 👍🏻

Yes I found dropouts occur occasionally and randomly. Not related to file format. Network is cat 6 so shouldn’t be that. I found after listening for a few mins dropouts don’t happen. Just wondering what did you experience?

With A26 firmware shows in roon as 1.41. Hope this helps. Just wondering if anyone tried 1.42 yet?

Imo both qutest and a26 are really good. Main difference is the network connection on a26. All dacs should have this 😊

I had a qutest and a26 side by side for a couple of weeks. Not night and day. Pros and cons only. A26 has better stereo image. Nice clear imaging for sure. Networking is a great feature. Qutest has nice holographic sound. Not too much in it. Could happy live with both. Much prefer a26 to d90s...

I found Furman products are good. At least they protect expensive equipment from power surges. Maybe they can provide other improvements!!

Yes absolutely, so comfortable. Build was fine. No issues with build and comfort. 😊 just goes to show that you need to check things yourself. I was expecting a cheaply made, squeaky headphone that was bass lite. Opposite was true!

Carbon amp should be ideal sound wise. It takes around three months for the order. Expect them to be sold out to crbn buyers for quite a while!
