FiiO Q7 Portable Desktop-Class DAC and Headphone Amplifier Discussion & Impressions Thread

Q7 is great with Ananda Nanos via balanced output with good cable. Even on Low gain. PS Just realized this is topic about Q7 and question was about HE1000v2 Stealth. But, anyway, maybe my response will be helpful for someone :)

Thanks for response, I considering HE6 as one of candidate on aftermarket. And yes, there is no portable alterative to Q7 with the same power on the market today.

    Found: 2.5mm / 4.4mm Headphone out (Super High gain) Output power : 1500mW @16ohm / 3000mW @32ohm / 550mW @300ohm Output impedance : < 1.7 ohms (32ohms) Output power : 1500mW @16ohm / 1500mW @32ohm / 260mW @300ohm Output impedance : < 2.2 ohms (32ohms) So, not too powerful for low-impedance...

FiiO Q7 Portable Desktop-Class DAC and Headphone Amplifier Discussion & Impressions Thread

Hi, TheDecline01, HE-6 impedance is 50 Ohm, if I'm not wrong. THX-788+ has TPA6120A2 in circuit and AFAIK has problems with impedance lower than 32 Ohm. HE1000V2 also 35 Ohm, so meet specs and 3Watts in desktop mode might be enough. My concern is regardig to low impedance planars.
