I agree that the Clears complement the Aryas well. It seems like they each can make up for the other’s weaknesses, depending on the type of music you listen to.

As someone who traded up from the Ananda to the Arya, I totally agree with this. The Ananda is great at its price point, but if money is no object, go with the Arya.

Focal is so concerned about build quality, it will be interesting to see if they correct this issue in the next iteration.

That's a counter intuitive approach. I'm going to give it a try.

To me, they are some of the best headphones at their price point. That said, I liked them so much, I sold them and got Aryas instead.

That’s an interesting comparison to the LCDX. I have the Clear and LCDX and, as much as I like the Clear, prefer the Audezes. I expect that would be even more true of the Elegia, but I’ve never heard them to know for certain.

Apologies for perhaps sounding like a broken record, but the Burson Conductor 3 amp/dac has been the most amazing combo for the Arya I have tried—and I have tried many.

Almost. I'm driving them with Burson Conductor 3. I was previously using a JDS Labs Element 2 and Schiit Magnius-Modius stack. The Burson opened up the Aryas to a degree I've never heard solely based on switching amps.
