Shure olives exert a greater outward pressure in the ears so you may initially find them giving you a bit of a headache from that. However the fit is good and seal is excellent. They do compress a lot and sprint back quite quickly if new, slows down a fair bit when compressed a few more times...- mho

LOD in your pocket
aww damn, thought there would be a method to stop this lol. I use to put it in my pocket with the LOD at the top of the pocket, now I put it so that the LOD is at the bottom and this orientation seems to give the least flex.- mho

Before I had my ipod i was using iaudio m3 with LOD, however the LOD broke in my pocket, as I walk it would push the LOD and bend the connection between the player and the dock. I have a fear...- mho

my new custom macbook skin
I thought I'd add some personalisation to my macbook. The plain whiteness started to look a bit empty. The theme I decided to use was based on a famous chinese proverb, translation and meaning is on the design. My photoshop skills are severly lacking and the design is nothing special, but I am...- mho

Rockbox...pros? cons?
I tried out Rockbox when I got my ipod and I have to say I didn't really like it. Like the OP I like the synchronization with itunes and also the UI. I'd say if you like itunes and also like the UI of the original firmware stay with it. Rockbox only worth using if you are going to use its...- mho

I ordered a custom skin for the cover of the macbook as well as the wrist pad area. These skins are reuseable...- mho
