Do All mp3 Players Sound Alike?
I have 5 different players by different brands and they all sound different. I've just done a comparison between a Sony 818 and a Meizu M6. Both sound excellent but still have a somewhat different signature sound. Two of my other players, a Creative MuVo and an iRiver T10, while good can't...- Bambu

Just bought a NWZ-A818 and I have some questions
Why not continue using MediaMonkey? I just got an A818 today too and I'm really happy with it so far - great player! I plugged it into my computer and MediaMonkey recognized it immediately, was able to fill it up, no hassles whatsoever.- Bambu

Top 10 MP3 Players (SQ ONLY)
That's a VERY subjective view of things. While a Meizu M6 for instance may have some issues , SQ is very good and it merits much better than being at the bottom of the heap in the second ranking. And it should be right up there in the newer one too...- Bambu

Hdd player with line out, lossless support, good sq?
My HD-5 does Atrac lossless... It's kinda pointless though, since using Atrac 352 will give you pretty much perfect/lossless SQ at less discspace. It's definitely a good piece of kit - and SonicStage is perfectly alright (at least the newer incarnations of it). I prefer it to iTunes actually.- Bambu

muvo v100 or iriver t10?
I have a T10 and the girlfriend has the MuVo. The T10 is better in all respects. SQ, battery life, screen, sturdiness, headphones, tweakability... Get it while you can , great player- Bambu

Which codec is the best for SONY HD5?
I've just done some pretty extensive (albeit subjective) testing of different codecs (I also have an Hd-5). Although my hearing has taken some abuse from listening to and playing loud amplified music for years my ears still seem to be able to spot some differences: 1. A lot really depends on...- Bambu

Archiving and transcoding from Flac to mp3
Thanks! I guess I'll give EAC a shot even though it seems pretty complex ...Would you say that SQ is better than ripping with WMP at same bitrates?- Bambu

Archiving and transcoding from Flac to mp3
Hey everybody, first post after lurking this most excellent board for a while! I need to put some order into my music, right now I have some 300 CD's ripped to mp3 at different bitrates spread out over 2 computers and one external harddisk. (...and I also have SonicStage running on one...- Bambu
