    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

I honestly almost jumped the gun on the shure 1540s the other day since there FR seemed rather to my liking, but I'm worried that mid bass hump would sound bloated on my asgard 3, which already seems a bit warm in that region as it is (perhaps I should have bet on a different amp, though that...

    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

Other than the aeon 2c + noire (perhaps something like Denon 5200 if you go down a bit in price) I'm blanking on competition for the dynamic value proposition these give. Easy to drive, fairly isolating, no leakage, not humongous, relatively affordable compared to something like a Stellia...Are...

    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

I could definitely see where that mid bass dip would make the overall sound feel less 'full'. Makes me curious to hear different amp pairings with this headphone. Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

I know this is a bit of apples/oranges but how would it compare to the Elex? I tend to think that would be an acceptable sound for me, even though I'm highly sensitive to 4-8k range, so I think if it falls in that range I could pull it off.

    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

For those that already have it, how's the isolation for the Celestee? My wife likes to have the tv on for background noise while she works from home, so a good "work from home" closed back with the potential for air travel is definitely in order and these might fit the bill.

    Warmest, darkest Focal set?

Is there a term for mid-range-centric headphones? I mistakenly always thought that's what warm meant lol. I've heard Senn/ZMF to be the consensus for that type of midrange sound, but I'm curious if the celestee/radiance would fall into that category.

    New Member Introductions thread

Hey everyone! Dallas, TX here. I've always been a bit of an audiophile, having listened to speakers with my dad growing up. I hadn't revisited the hobby for a little over a decade before deciding on upgrading some tower speakers that my dad left me when he passed. My wife actually helped me get...
