Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

As stated in the official Chord presentation, the TT2 is a DAC, a digital preamplifier and a headphone amplifier. that is what it is, therefore driving speakers for a medium sized listening room (8x4mts) imo will require that the speakers be driven by a dedicated Amplifier, which receives the...- RCC HD Sound

IMO if the TT2 is a digital preamp then buy a decent integrated amp and enjoy your speakers at whatever volume your ears will happily handle.- RCC HD Sound

Yes, that's ideal...... but I already had the optical cable, with optical terminals at each end, so it was cheaper to just buy the adapter before having to buy another cable. The one I already had is: wireworld SUPERNOVA™ 7 Toslink Optical (STO)- RCC HD Sound

Dear Sir, I am an industrial designer by profession, and under that concept, it does not seem logical to me (imo) that a device (TT2) has 2 BNC inputs + 2 Optical inputs + a USB input, however, according to your previous comment, we should only leave the optical inputs, disconnecting all the...- RCC HD Sound

IMO, I don't really understand what "jonstatt" said, because in my case I use the SUPERNOVA™ 7 Toslink Optical (STO) cable from Wireworld two years ago and it fits perfectly (solidly and consistently) in the optical (female) input of the TT2, even its rotating head does not compromise a solid joint- RCC HD Sound

Unfortunately what you say is true, many people think so, I already said it months ago in a publication, it is not acceptable that a brand of this prestige has this type of recurrent failures, thus demonstrating inefficient quality control- RCC HD Sound
