Perfect timing for me, I’ve literally been on the fence with trying to see how this plays compared to say a Bluesound Node or a Sonos Port.

I hope this gets a reply, my main source will be Apple Music and a Mac with Big Sur installed

Finally got the Penrose X (after a long shipping wait) and here are my initial thoughts after a few hours of listening to music (iPhone) and playing on PS5 (Note I don’t have a PC or Android so not sure of way of updating firmware yet): - sound quality listening to music is excellent, great...

Meant to add, that I imagine it that would work with Tempest works, as Tempest is done by the PS5 and then sent to any USB headset

Be able to tell you when I get my Penrose X (hopefully Monday) and try them out with my PS5. Will try on switch too, suspect it’ll work with the Switch dock

For me mic quality isn’t a priority and the battery isn’t a big issue. So sound quality would be my main focus when picking

no, I meant the A50 has a better mic and the Penrose will have better sound. Haven’t heard the pro wireless

i would go with the Penrose. I had the A50s and had some issues with drop outs like folks reported here for Penrose. I think the A50 would have a better mic and the Penrose better sound. But ultimately you can’t go wrong with either.

So UPS only does critical stuff-on Christmas Day, guess we’re hoping for Saturday or Sunday

Does anyone know of US distributors that have received units? At this point I’m ordering domestic and returning the unit that I ordered directly from Audeze given the shipping mess I’ve experienced

oh and I mean shipped as in put on an actual ship!

So, checked UPS today and my unit is in Taiwan for some reason?! @Audeze would suggest you ask for shipping fees to be reimbursed it seems like some units took a week to go from Hong Kong to Taiwan, seems like it got shipped? At this rate it may be here in mid January, very frustrating experience
