Hi Definitely I recently brought some Siemens 6922 1960 nos wow they are really good, prefer them to my Phillips SQ E80CC I given up with trying new DACs and brought a Willsenton R8 instead 😄

I’m glad I didn’t outlay any money trying a the direct stream and will ask the hifi shop what other high end DACs they have. It’s just confirmed to me that my system is getting close to being the best it can be within my budget and without going overboard

So I am currently demoing the Ps audio directstream, have to say I’m going to stick with my MP I am using Philip’s SQ E80CC and a Linlai we274b I think it performs to a very similar standard, it suits my listening needs Sean

Hi folks so has anyone had a similar issue, so purchased a Used Cossor 53KU rectifer and when when using certain tubes for instance Tungsrams ECC85 it will cut out and need resetting not every track but maybe 1 in 5 tracks and more if higher volume, doesn’t do it all with a different rectifer...
