SR325i will always sound better than SR225 even with woody mod. But I voted for SR225 woodies. Simply because they look awesome!

The X3i could be among the greats if not for the build quality.

A pair of MylarOne X3i is what you need. I can't think of any other IEMs at that price range that are better sounding. They're small and light but big on sound.

I've chosen the MS2is over the SR225 and even SR325i (They sound closer to the SR325i). And that was after weeks of serious listening. Is it worth the price difference? A BIG yes! The Grados are a bit too bright to my taste. And the Alessandros? Perfectly balanced

Why would you want to switch the polarity? To accelerate the burn-in process?
