Curious which one have you preferred on the XSX with the Penrose? I have both also but have pretty much stuck to Atmos.

I've noticed this too. It seems to reset everytime after turning it off and back on. Would be nice if it would save this setting. I've adjusted it through the Windows and Android app but it always resets.

Thank you for this because it is extremely useful. I currently upgraded from a Plantronics Rig 800XL and Xbox must'vechanged their compatibility policy on this. I would have to unplug the Plantronics dongle everytime I was done using the headphones so I had access to my home theater settings in...

May I ask what Android phone you are using? As others have commented it is not showing the battery on certain Android devices?

How easy are these to change out?

I agree with others here that this function seems to be set up backwards. Every other gaming headset I've used that had a chat mix is setup opposite of the Penrose.

My Penrose X had the Sidetone on by default when I connected them to the Audeze HQ app for the first time. Had to manually turn it off. It also did ship with the latest firmware.

Someone posted in a reddit thread that you can adjust each party member but not sure if that is with the Penrose X connected. I haven't tried this yet. As for the mic not being recognized and the crackling/popping after you turn on your Series X do a full restart and see if that fixes any...

I think it does grey everything out. At least with the others wireless Xbox headsets that I've used.

It should. As others have suggested you can download the trial for each on Xbox or Windows and compare. Each app has their own sound demos that you can also test out.

Certain games and movies support Dolby Atmos. I've noticed COD and Cyberpunk both feature this as it kicks in on my home theater when playing them.
