The only thing I prefer the LCD-X for from memory vs. Atrium would be really deep bass things like electronic music or movie soundtracks.

Been listening to this via Atrium for a good part of this week. Absolutely love the guitar tone via the Atrium.

With all these tube amps posted lately it really makes me want to sell some things to have a friend of mine build an Aegis for me.

Been doing a fair bit of listening to this band over the past week via my Atriums. Really enjoy prog through them and they really do a great job presenting Gavin Harrison's drumming.

I would agree with this assessment based on my experience with the LCD-X borrowed from a friend.

Thanks. Yeah a buddy of mine has been into tubes for years and has a harder time sticking with listening via SS gear as it's just missing "something". I have yet to determine if that spend (on a tube amp) is worth it to me..........

Yep I would agree. If I had to nit pick the Atrium though, compared to a planer that I came from previously (Arya Stealth) the ONE area I miss the planar for is movie soundtracks that call for lots of really low sub bass. Examples include TRON, Bladerunner, Dune and so on. I could definitely...

So I just received my set of perforated mesh for the Atrium as my set came with the solid mesh installed from the previous owner (and I didn't see where they had a set of perforated included in the carrying case). I'll be honest, I'm trying REALLY hard not to fall victim to the "well others say...
