100 % agree. For me, I don't even need the ECL-02. The bass level and impact is more than enough with the stock ECL-01 pads. By the way, if you look at the reponse curve of the HP-1, you can see that it is the headphone that have the less roll off in the sub-bass in the Kennerton planar family...

Small ??? Driver alone is 80 mm wide. Cups are probably 10 cm wide like on my LSA HP-1 and other Kennerton planars. Earpads are also probably 105 mm wide like all Kennerton planars' earpads and full over ear. Look at the size here : https://kennerton.org/shop/ecl-01/

And also no holes on the earpads, unlike the open planars (These open planars can't work whithout holes on the earpads, according to Valentin).

I don't need anything else than my RME ADI-2 DAC fs (version 3 with AKM AK4493 and big remote) and my LSA HP-1. I never heard the Thekk, but maybe the LSA HP-1 (made by Kennerton for LSA) could be the solution to your problem. And for half the price of a Thekk. To simplify, the HP-1 is a Thekk...
