So woodgrain Famate monitors, I've just started using the mmcx cable that came with my F1, which I sadly can't get on with fit despite me liking the sound very much. Anyway after using this cable these have have gone from a bassy stage monitor to a Shure like 535, with slightly less forward...

Agreed they definitely grip the tube better! Just kept popping out my ear. So I have some wide ones from my UF ones I'm using. Really pleasant sound.

So we have the F1 here, none of the tips fitted or stayed in my ears, so I've used my own. So far excellent, nice flat pure sound. Definitely an iem I could listen to for long periods of time. Another thumbs up so far, enjoyable sound. Shame about the tips mind, but they'll come in handy 😊
