aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters
Thanks, I'll try to snag one when its back in stock :) Researching around, expensive broadcasting world. aptX-Live codec ~2ms latency. Haven't used myself, can be powered during use. Thinking of putting the TX on PC plugged into mobo with a short USBC cable plugged into mobo & the TX to...- cattboy

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
just sharing. the flairmesh dongle (aptx loseless) dev mentioned this cable supports aptX-lite. Yes. Was confirmed to use via Flairmesh Developer working on their dongle to test it with the codec. MTW4 once receiving a firmware and app update should also support it afterwards, but this cable...- cattboy

would love to hear your review. specifically if theres an audible elevated noise floor. the sony inzone buds had lc3 & dongle but had horrible passive noise in low audio moments.- cattboy

I wonder how aptX-Lite vs aptX -LL sounds. fwiw this neckband supports aptX-Lite https://aliexpress.com/item/1005005981579570.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.425a140fwO47oS&gatewayAdapt=glo2kor- cattboy

Anything else about the corporate regime potentially profiteering off uninformed sheeple /s. Thanks for the thoughtful reply. The "true goal" hifi audio, is very muddied in today You have to admit a benefit of all these extra areas companies are focusing on (outside of what a treble frequency...- cattboy

aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters
I dare say we're almost reaching a plateau of "goodness" audio quality wise, outside of personal taste of what a sound should sound like. where or what do you think is left undone or needs to be focused on? from my PoV we can improve the hi quality audio "experience", with directly touching...- cattboy

Dual use devices? What do you mean? As in old SBC codec and new LC3? Or because it has a 3.5mm jack and usb dongle- cattboy

Exactly. Waiting for the product to have what was tested. The TMAP settings may also impact latency, but if not that's a bonus. If it does a 2ndary mic solves that issue. TWS mics tend to sound bad anyway- cattboy

aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters
For gaming, you want 40ms> transmit latency, or less. Problem is, theres generally a compromise of audio quality to transmit the signal faster. Theres new codecs on the horizon that may increase audio quality while remaining low latency, LC3+, LHDC-LL, aptx-Lite But none of those new codecs...- cattboy

That would be big. Interested to hear your MTW4 input when released, or what receiver you end up with. Sony Inzone buds were great (LC3) but elevated noise floor so can hear a soft hiss when using which is a bummer. Assuming you're talking about this Dongle...- cattboy

Yes, it does come with Creative Zen hybrid Headphones. This makes me believe it may be a dongle compatible with all RX Bluetooth devices that share the same codecs, sold individually. Similar to Creative's BT-W# USB transmitter dongle lineup. Possibly meaning more dongles to be announced...- cattboy

Sorry to interrupt the lossless discussion Is it confirmed the Creative BT‑L3 and BT-L4 dongle (that come with Zen headphone), pair&work with other BT Audio devices using the LC3 codec? Itchyears writeup says it pairs with Nvidia shield so I'm assuming yes?- cattboy
