Not sure if you have already made a purchase but I also have and love the DC03 Pro, tried the DC04 Pro and DC06 Pro. To my ears, DC06 Pro is like a supercharged DC03 Pro. Better resolution/detail, better control over the drivers on the headphone/IEM. I highly recommend it.

I ordered this from Amazon and tried it today. I do hear an improvement with the iBasso DC06 Pro. Sounds like a blacker background and perhaps a bit more clarity. It does make me curious to hear something like a DC Elite with this setup.

That looks like a typo to me. He’s jumping back and forth between typing LiM and MiB. Besides, there’s nothing to indicate this idea of a LiB having a discrete output. If this is the extent of your evidence I’m not putting much stock in it.

GS2 is still the A1 card. The only real difference is that the GS2 comes with the Yggy+ chassis and the GS1 was in the old chassis.

Maybe it’s the old customer support side of me, but these things aren’t as easy as they look, especially if they can’t be reproduced easily, and Ibasso looks plenty responsive to me.

They have been quick to respond to the issue and do internal testing. They said they haven’t been able to pin down the source yet, but will continue to test and issue a firmware update if need be. What more are you expecting from them, exactly?

If you like the sound of the 03 Pro, I highly recommend the 06 Pro which retains all those sound qualities but takes technicalities and performance farther (including balanced out).
