Listening to the new Dream theater album on my Stabilized VC's via bifrost+rebelamp. Perfection. I might have to pickup blackwood vc's when they become available. Especially if they have a more matte-like/satin finish to them.

@zach915m What are your thoughts on the rebelAmp or any amp that has 0.10 ohm output impedance? I don't think i can hear any difference between my rebelamp and feliks audio elise (40-50ohm out impedance) on my stabilized VC's. Do you have any recommended tracks to listen to for differences in...

yeah, the rebel amp is deceptively big. It won't be stack friendly with a bifrost, but you can still stack them if you want. So far, my rebel isn't putting off much heat even after listening for a few hours.

agree with you @Lvivske except i think mine sounds great with only a few hours of use so far. I'll report back after 1 or two days if the sound improves.

Just received mine in black. Amazing amp. running this with a bifrost2 and it's pure magic with my ZMF VC. It really does have some tube magic without the tubes. Best way i can describe it. plenty of slam for me.

I actually think i like the elise over the pendant SE but i haven't rolled any tubes yet with the pendant se. The pendant SE is more analytical and doesn't have the warmth of the elise. I've rolled a few tubes with the elise and with PS vane cv181-TII for drivers and gold lion kt88's for powers...

I just received my RebelAmp and just started listening to my VC Stabilized after letting it warm up for an hour. This is a great combination. PC->Roon-> schiit bifrost 2 -> rebelamp. Plenty of power and warmth on medium gain. Dead silent. I'm starting to think if I should even keep my Feliks...

I recently got into progressive bluegrass stuff. I highly recommend all of the works from Punch Brothers (chris thile) and really anything of Chris Thile is amazing.

It's definitely the most neutral out of all of them and since it places the driver the closest to your ear, "things" were a bit too in my face with a loss of warmth. That's just me though. But my observations fall in line with Zach's pad table here
