Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆
I think disconnecting the mojo poly when not in use saves a bit of the polys charge. The poly is a bit of sieve with energy though and tends to dissipate regardless.- Billyak

iFi Audio GO Bar Kensei... The Ultimate GO Bar Has Arrived!
I have found this video on YouTube going in to, what appears to be, the K2 process for CD's. I still fail to see how this fits in to the go bar's playback method. 🤷♂️- Billyak

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Would something like that work with a chord mojo with the mojo battery removed? I know some people have removed the battery to turn the mojo in to a static DAC by just using a standard charging cable or by installing small super capacitors.- Billyak

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
Not so much the ER4 line but when the EVO was being hyped prior to release I was hoping for a hybrid set. I love the DD implementation in the ER2 so I was hoping for a DD for bass and BA mids and treble in the EVO but it was not to be.- Billyak

Which IEM have you been most disappointed by?
Thieaudio Legacy 4. Terrible timbre, plasticky sounding with a hot top end. Switches don't do anything and it does not take EQ well at all. On the plus side it is probably the best fitting iem I own.- Billyak

iFi Audio GO Bar Kensei... The Ultimate GO Bar Has Arrived!
That's what I could not understand. If it is part of the recording process to record from tape that is one thing. But to then magically reintroduce material that was taken away in the 16bit 44.1 conversion is another.- Billyak

iFi Audio GO Bar Kensei... The Ultimate GO Bar Has Arrived!
I'm not familiar with K2HD technology so it would be interesting to see how it is utilised here. I had a very brief scan of the K2HD website and it seemed to imply that it was part of the recording chain (ADC) and not the playback chain (DAC) but I might be very wrong.- Billyak

Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆
I did read somewhere that when the poly is connected to the mojo it is in a constant state of search mode looking for a network connection. Not sure how true it is but I usually go days without listening to the combo and find the battery drain is less if I disconnect them both.- Billyak
