Just picked up the MM-500 from a local Audeze dealer! The two dealers in my area (North Carolina) got them in yesterday 8/11. Will be listening to them this weekend, and will post some impressions later.- tachen77

Depending on your retailer, you could try to get them to replace the whole headphone instead (could potentially be faster than waiting for pads from Focal). Does anyone have any experience with getting earpad replacements from Focal? I've had mine for ~3 weeks now and I've noticed that my right earpad has less foam/material density than the left earpad, resulting in some contact with the inside and a bit of imbalance. Agreed about the decay, live performances have never sounded better to me than on the Clear MG! One of the "drawbacks" about this though, when I listen to certain songs with electronic drums, if they lack decay/reverb it can make them stick out, in my mind, as a little more "artificial".
