OK, so adding an impedance adapter would hold back the headphones, should just go with a high power, low output impedance amp. Topping L30 also a candidate now that it's been 'fixed" with respect to ESD issues?

Is the addition of an impedance adapter to get the Verum up to a more typical impedance of say, 30 ohms, a good solution for compatibility with more amps, or does one need to get a high current amp that can drive them at their native 8 ohm impedance to realize the full potential of the Verum?
