    Try holding the button down for longer. It should show the HiBy logo in yellow, then after a minute or so the regular UI appears. Same for shutting down: A brief button press just blanks the screen. A longer one shows the yellow logo, then it shuts all the way down.

    @jimmyk70 you might try writing to A&K to let them know of your experience. I wrote to them a little while ago - at support@theinvixion.com - and they told me their tests showed an iPad with USB-C works. Maybe there's a firmware fix they can make.

    I recommend the iFi EarBuddy or iEMatch attenuators for this issue. I'm not an electrical engineer, so maybe I’ve got this wrong. But the attenuators are just resistors - their impedance shouldn’t change with frequency of signal passing through them.
