I'm using my H5+Miflex pre-outs to my marantz.. significant soundstage increases and depth.. without much deviation from original sound signature with stock tubes

How did you find the singxer SA1 pairing with HE6? From what i gather from SA1 thread, its just enough for normal (not loud) listening at around 85%-90% on volume pot on high gain? And now that you have used both, what does the Burson do different from the SA1, sound signature wise?

I usually take the inputs from a shotgun approach perspective, while many out there feel that the advice given should be given with sniper accuracy.. In the end, take what u wish to from it. Leave what you dont. Asking for advice is easy, what to do with it is the tricky bit :)

And how would you define the characteristics difference between the two?

i have the mojo 2 for portable use.. and not a huge budget for a desktop/lounge set up. Currently the marantz power amp (pm5005) is doing headphone amp duties. But i hear you!

Mostly inferences drawn from online research on what caps do vs what speedball crack kit does. An oversimplified take is that both add capacitance to the output signal which helps with dynamic peaks and bass reproduction.

thanks kvik. Checked with Weislaw. He says it's an orange led he put in. So when I turn it on, first 30 seconds there is no light and then there is an dark orange/ red light that comes on. Everything else works fine. He says amp is safe to use

So took the courage and plugged the headphones in..and Eufonika! It's working..seems the light wasn't changed to green as requested. But finally..i have it working.. Stupid me 😅
