Player is now reading the 256GB card perfectly... after I deleted the two folders named in Japanese.

So the questions come down to: 1) Has anyone ever successfully used a 256gb card (the manufacturer's claimed limit)? 2) If so, FAT or exFAT? 3) What were the other specs on the card?

They made various suggestions, the futility of which would be made obvious by the above efforts already made. At this point I challenged them as to if an actual test had been done on a 256gb card. The ACMEE rep commented it had been, but that the player is critical of card quality or something...
