I have had the same problem, till I ordered the batter from AliExpress and replaced it by myself. It was out of warranty and I have nothing to lose anyway. Just wait till it died then I will go for some other brand.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with AliExpress. I might be the lucky one that got a good battery. In fact it last longer when playing the music than the original one.

It could be the connection from battery to the device. But if it’s still in warranty then you better send it back.

It happened the same to me too. I ordered a new battery from Aliexpress and replaced it myself. You will need to tools for screws. It's quite easy. Just have to be a bit more careful when you connect the battery to the part. It could get loose.

Try to look in the folder or search for “ .cue” or “ .log” it works for my QP2R and SD card.

I would like to update you about my experiment. I have formatted fat32 as Scorpio1957. Then after that the name of the files that won't play were there still, so I went into the folder and deleted any files that have .cue and .log. Those lists have been gone.

Yes, exactly and also I got rid of some files.cue as well. I formatted my SD card fat 32. Will keep you updated later.

Yesterday I formatted the QP2R just for experimenting. I have found some files that before .flac or .wav were having space after the name of the songs, so got rid of the space and updated the library, then the fail files disappeared.

Please keep me posted if it helps?. I forgot to say that when I formatted the card I used also exfat, but I'm going to format it with fat32. What MIA means, please?.

A nice guy from this forum suggested to me to do this, to move all the files out of the QP2R and SanDisk 1TB extreme and will format both in the same time. Hopefully it will help. Otherwise will have to remove the incomplete files manually.

Jason, I understand that. But Bexit was 1 January 2020 and I bought my SR25 on 15 June 2020. Almost 6 months after Brexit and they just changed today. That is 18 months. Another thing. I just started to use 2.5 socket 2 weeks ago then it broke. How can that possible?
