push me to buy an emmeline xp7 or a Larooco Pocket Ref.-or other?- for my hd650 ...
how about Corda HA-2 with the HD650? nobody seems to remember it in this kind of threads. is the Corda clearly inferior to emmeline and larocco?- Murasame

Sennheiser HD650 unamped?
HD650 with the iriver's line out work, but the volume must be increased to 35-38 (max is 40) it sounds average, but it's ok if you could close one eye and concentrate only on music. but i feel the need to upgrade my little amp, and the source too. so keep in mind it will be only a temporary...- Murasame

HD650 reviews in Diapason (France) and Stereo (Germany)
i paid 400 euros for them... they are wonderful headphones, too bad i lack some money to give them a decent amp. i really love them, the silk in the sound and the emotion they provide. i haven't listened the HD600, but i don't feel any veil with the 650- Murasame

Shure E5 vs Etty ER4P

RS-1 vs. ER-4S: Which has more details and better resolution?
no...i love almost everything with ER4S, bass, high, midrange, all but hard to resist the temptation of CD3000, HD650 or AlexMP when reading this damn Head Fi forum- Murasame

RS-1 vs. ER-4S: Which has more details and better resolution?
i read many reviews about RS1 and Etys, and it seems to me they are more guys disappointed with RS1 than with Etys...so i don't know, but because of this feeling i couldn't decide to buy one...- Murasame

Etymotic vs. Shure
basically, imo, the best portable sound can be found between this two: ER4S ans Shure E5. i don't know ER6 or E2 and E3 but i don't care... with my experiences with them, ER4S win easily. but many love the more immediate E5's sound and bass, so you may have to try by yourself. they have a...- Murasame

Finally got Ety's 4P
they have a real different sound, and it's not a simple question as more or less bass. E5 are not "Etys with more bass" as i thought in the first time. they are two totaly different headphones. for me the E5's sound is unbearable, but many love it, so it's probably a question of tastes...- Murasame

Etymotic 4S tip mod results
well... after few more tests i can say: -the sound is more close (of course...), and bass and low range is more present, has more impact, sometimes great impact. -but somewhat in the hights is lost. i cannot tell presisely if it's clarity or purity...or maybe the hear is attracked by the low...- Murasame
