Have had both. Chord Mojo for sure. I would say the Chord Mojo does have a warm/musical colour + characteristic, whereas the FiiO A5 is quite sterile.

Tempotec V1 here. For me audio is coming out of the USB C jack when I use a USB DAC but not the 3.5mm port. Is there any issue with my particular model? Or do I need to switch the output? If so, how?

The Edition 8 Carbon and Edition 8EX have different sound signatures from the regular models (Ruthenium, Palladium, Romeo, Julia). I know this reply came very late but I hope that cleared things up :)
