Eep! Are these genuine EP-630's?
Hi, I just bought a pair of Creative EP-630 Canalphones from Dick Smith Powerhouse (in Australia) for around $33. When I got them home, I noticed the packaging looked a little different to what I had seen online. Do these look genuine? (click thumbnail for larger image) (headphones...- Crike

How similar are the Creative EP-630 and Sennheiser CX300?
I haven't been able to find them in Dick Smiths, and apparantly the can't order them in. I can get them from centre.net.au for around $40 delivered, so that's probably my best bet.- Crike

Yep, I've decided to get them. Now to find somewhere that sells them... I found some more threads about both models, must have been using the Search thing wrong... :P- Crike

How similar are the Creative EP-630 and Sennheiser CX300?
Hi, I made a thread a while ago about buying some canalphones for under $100, and surprise surprise, I haven't bought any yet. So, I've been looking at the Creative EP-630 and Sennheiser CX300, which I have heard are quite similar in terms of build and sound. Over here in Aus, the CX300...- Crike

Quick Question: UE Metro.fi vs. UE Super.fi 3 Studio
Hi, I know someone who is selling a Super.fi 3 for $60 (AUS, Second hand), and was wondering how these compare with the Metro.fi which I can buy for $99 (AUS, New). I'm thinking this may be the deal I am after. Cheers!- Crike

Got the KSC75 today...I'm impressed!
How closed are they? Are they loud enough on the outside to distract someone sitting say, 2m away from you? Cheers.- Crike

Closed and compact headphones for under $100
I just noticed some of the feedback says they appear to be fake, forget that! I found out my local Dick Smiths (electrical store) has the 630 for around $30, might as well pick them up tomorrow and see what they're like.- Crike

Headphones with a J cable are good, but I don't really care to be honest, I just wanted to know out of interest. The Vibes look good, but I think they might be a little too expensive for my liking. I'd like to avoid getting them from eBay and get them from headphones.com.au, which has them...- Crike

I would also be interested in knowing what type of cables the above headphones us (e.g uneven cables or even cables), and if they have a vertical or L shaped connector. No biggy, just handy to know. Cheers.- Crike

Isolation from outside noise isn't a big deal, but leakage should be kept to a minimum. I've rounded it off too: Cheaper models: Creative EP-630 JVC Marshmallow More expensive models: Senny CX300 Ultimate Ears Metro-Fi V-Moda Vibe Shure EC2 (not likely due to price and age) Is...- Crike

Yes, well, durability is a reasonably important factor, but I don't want to put priority on durability. I'd rather have excellent sounding headphones with decent durability than decent sounding headphones with excellent durability.- Crike

Yeah, the Creative's might be okay. I had only used the bundled ones, but the non-bundled ones might be worth it. They're certainly cheaper. Never heard of V-Moda. The Vibes are around $110 (AUS) on eBay, which is okay. I certainly like the vertical plug, much prefer them to the L shaped...- Crike

Thanks, I must have been doing something wrong. The E2C's are looking like a good option, but I'm still undecided as to whether they are worth the extra $40/$80 over the Metro.fi and CX300, respectively...- Crike
