I know this might be silly, but did you actually turn your device on ? On my Nano BL, the device just had to be plugged in without having to turn it on and it would be detected. On the Signature, the knob has to be turned on.

Well i decided to go ahead and update my device, which shipped with version 1.5 for some reason to firmware 7.2 and the upgrade went smoothly. Unit now shows 7.2 in system information :)

Great to see this thread back on its feet and can’t wait for this new FW to drop. My only gripe with the original FE and all the other Z1 based FWs was their certain lack of dynamism after extensively using them, at least with my gear. This looks to remedy it.

Why would I ? 3.5mm Balanced (Note the Balanced part on 3.5mm, this is not your regular 3.5mm cable) to 4.4mm Balanced. This is the only way to use this adapter.

Mine is also a Japan Tourist Edition, and it was on E. Changed it later to J, not that there was anything wrong with E. But at the time all the tunings were made with J in mind, thus I made the switch.

Decrease you screen brightness to 1 from the default settings, this should help a lot with consumption.

The way you are describing it, it sounds exactly like the 1Z+ Mod from @MrWalkman on the 1A at least. The holographic sound is definitely what separates the + from the non + variant.

I actually never knew about firmware 3.02 until sometime in April when i joined this thread. I was on 2.00 until the longest time and was never quite satisfied with the sound. With 3.02 and the subsequent firmwares by @MrWalkman, i can't imagine parting ways with WM1A anytime soon.
