Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
X9Plus isn't bad, sometime i like it. (I got 2nd-hand from nearby market just $50) :relieved: XP6 and G8 are so different. G8: wider sound-stage, balance sound. XP6: deeper, warm sound. G8X is too expensive, Then choose V40. It is also a good phone. Too much price gap(more than twice!)- asrockung

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
1) My Xplay6 and X9Plus still struck on Android 7. :sob: 2) It's difficult to compare but i usually use G8. If you want to know, X9Plus sound is neutral and wide. it feel like open-back headphones. but lack of dynamics and has thin sound. 3) In terms of audio it is similar, i sold V50...- asrockung

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
Finally i got LG G8(2cams) . So sound style is similar to V50(Maybe same) but i dont have V50 to do AB test(i sold my V50 on January) and i'm so suprised the front cam on G8 has autofocus!(V50 dont have.) Maybe G8 is a my last LG phones. LG is good phone but other is better. V60 is very...- asrockung

It could be wrong but sound style are similar. LG has 3 sound character(from my experience) More bass and lively sound: LG V20 Less bass and natural sound: LG G7, V30(I tested it in a short time.) Something between above, natural but more lively, more musical than G7 (I'm prefer this type): LG...- asrockung

In my opinion, I think "Meridian Tuned" is only tuned for speaker not include 3.5mm audio. And DSD or MQA issue is from SW not HW(DAC) then all lg phones at least all LG V-serie(except V50S) and G-serie(except g8s) should have es9218p dac.- asrockung
