i disagree with this imaging statement. Out of the box the btr7 4.4mm doesn't sound as good as the Ru6 in imaging. I also does a weird decrease in bass compared to the 3.5mm port which sound more balanced than the 4.4mm itself.

I forgot i had a pair. I been listening iems in 4.4 pentaconn balanced. Fx 700 is kinda behind in clarity but it's interesting as a woodie. Blon03 wasnt it for me. I prefer refined sound. Fx 700 is a little behind but is fun sounding. The sony mdr z5 is a lot more refined like the focal utopia...

I noticed the bone conduction works best when the tips are on the first ring. Not to the complete back. With the tiny gap between the speaker and the hear more sound comes out when its not covered up.

Kr5 sounds like the okko oh10 with slightly less soundstage and more mid bass bump. The sub bass is the same. Same W signature. I think it has more resolving capabilities. Especially with the red atom which pushes the mids to be more upfront. You will get more room acoustic information with that...

I agree the KR5 is very nice. I was sold on the pressure relief system of Atom venting. Finally i can listen at higher volumes and not get that feeling hate with other iems. The KR5 sounds like an open back headphone and feels like one too.

I don't have Ne4 or Xe6 but have sony z5, okko oh10, jvc fx700, meze solo, P1, Ea3 and I sold my hidition NT6 customs. Yeah i went nuts 🤪 and jumped to 3k range blind at that. But after researching the technology I had enough faith in it to take the jump. I'm mostly an over ear headphones...

Yeah i also find the silver atoms with this silver cable and the stock foam tip to be excellent also. I'm getting up front mid bass with treble headroom and more delicate sound with this setup. But the gold atom give more rich holographic soundstaging. The resolution is incredible either way.
