I understood that but the way I somewhat interpret your comparison was that the VC was a bit more of an improved Eikon with its own tweaks/variations. So when it comes to headphones I would want them to be different enough to warrant owning each one if I want more of one.

The clamping force is for a lack of words... situational? Sometimes I’ve noticed it while Ive worn it but other times when I got the “perfect fit” it I didn’t notice it. But the Elegia has this thing where I feel that you’ll always notice it when you wear it even if it’s only a little bit.

I appreciate it really, I’m looking at well the Atticus/eikon > and then the verite closed if the eikons that similar I might just get an Atticus and then go for a vertie closed. I don’t want them all to be too similar.

Do you guy think the btr5 could drive a zmf Eikon/Verite sufficiently? I'm loving it so far and I've mostly used it for iems but I plan to get one if not both of those and I'd prefer to stick to one device in the long run.

I was doing a run from my s9+ using the vlc player and it sounds pretty good if not great to me. I think windows groove is doing something stupid. I should probably change from the player but its simple and usually works fine. I did double check to ensure theres no eq applied. @VivusI believe...

I'm trying it more without oratory1990's eq, I still like the elegia stock. It sounds pretty good on portable devices too its definitely not a purchase I regret right now. It might be the good ole burn in effect( getting used to how it sounds) not actual burn in.

Oh I mean the muted sound it was really quiet after I applied the eq. When I first listened to it, it sounded a bit less detailed not exactly hushed but lacking of some sort. I'm still trying to figure it out.

So far it seems fixing the q factor fixed 90% of the muted sound I heard. Nice catch.

I don't think I have it set up right? Everything sounds a bit muted and I'm not sure why. Also whats the difference between the shelfs he'll have listed where one has and underscore and the other doesn't?

Undun, that a better way of what I was thinking. I did eq the bass up a bit but I want it to be a bit more note worthy. ev666il could you share you eq settings with us? I'm interested in trying it as I'm not very good with eq and it could prevent me from buying dekoni pads.

@Benaudio i apologize i have the Elegia i get the names confused very frequently because I thought about both for a while. @ev666il I'd prefer to get them close to that w/o eq because sometimes I like to use them on my ipad/phone and I don't think there is a way to do a system eq. So if I could...

I just got my elears the other day, is there a list of which pads increase the bass from the least to the most? I saw the dekoni menioned so far.

If you order a size too big you can check amazon thats where I got my sednas I got them in two days I ordered the see through ones.
