Better imaging, soundstage, refinment, seperation and sound quality. More etheral and kind of thin sound. Sound concept is different. Feeling style sound rather than touching. Ear fatigue free and nice with gaming.- noisefree

Best gaming headset -- I have an amplifier, budget of less than $500
Shure SRH1540 for closedback. Sound is dense. Very good panning and approaching. Very good visceral impact and realism. Long distance explosions are real. Shure SRH1840 for openback. Exceptional imaging. Pinpoint accuracy. You can detect both distance and height of the object. But sound feels...- noisefree

Wonderful AKG K1000 headphones
Why akg k1000 sound awesome, I didnt hear it, just demoed on youtube. Comparing other headphones its signature is more relaxed, it has wide stereo image and beautifully seperates violin and acustic with ryhthm and musicality. it has sense of inner feeling of low end. srh1840 headphone is used...- noisefree

I had SRH440 and SRH840. They are good company together. SRH440 has sort of detail that I don't hear with SRH840. Musical way is strong than watching movies. SRH840 is superiour. You can listen very wide range of music. You can watch movies, TV shows and series. Quite non-fatiguing. İt plays...- noisefree

Shure SRH1540 Review
Yes, it seems strange to me too. Everytime I plugged in it, I play it little😂. I have srh1840 for four years. I did'nt have any problem. But for srh1440 I thought I implemented well and it was noisy(sound wise) then I realised couldn't attached well. So I pushed further. Problem solved. That is...- noisefree

Shure SRH1840 - a few thoughts
I really like srh1840 sounds. They have unique feeling that I can't explain and I have'nt that feeling with another shure product. I did not try so called hi-end, totl, end game headphones. I don't know what they sound like. I like the feeling of that headphone. I like the 10hz frequency feeling...- noisefree

Shure SRH1840 - a few thoughts
I have heard srh1540 and srh1840 are power hungry and srh1840 more...when srh1840 powered properly, it gets even bassier than srh1540. For me bass is ok. Lack of visceral impact of srh1840 is good for non-fatiguing experience.- noisefree
