CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

So I've been out of it for nine months. My last acquisitions were the Heart Mirror which I adore and the Tripo TC01 which I do not. Now that you know my tastes. What do you recommend for under $50 that's come out in the last six months?

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

I found the Tripo TC-01 too V-shaped. Too much bass and treble can be harsh.

    Mobile phone+DAC+Amp Opinion

This is odd because the Topping NX4 DSD has a separate charge port. The signal input port does not accept or require power.

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

Absolutely. Unlike the over-rated, hyped BL03, the KB100 does not suffer from bloated bass and emasculated highs. iBasso IT00 at $79 may also be right up your alley.

Shanling MTW100 - True Wireless IEMs, IPX7, BT5.0 Balanced armature or Dynamic driver

The problem is likely that there charger cannot supply the correct voltage and current combination for the earbud case. The case probably can't accept anything but 5V and 2.1A while the charger delivers a lot more power than that.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Lypertek Tevi - Still the top pick under $100? If not, which one is it?

Lotoo PAW S1 - Designed for HIFI on the go with Lotoo PAW quality and the first USB DAC-AMP with dual 3.5mm & 4.4mm output

Funny thing is neither the $109 BTR5 or the $99 5K suffer from EMI. The problem is not LTE. The problem is Lotoo's design and implementation.

CCA in ear monitors Impressions Thread

Does it sound any different from the ZS10 Pro or C12?

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

Yes. Two years later it remains one of the top picks, along with the BQEYZ KB100 and Tin T2+, in the under-$50 Balanced IEM.

FiiO Hybrid IEMs Discussion & Impressions Thread

The Tin T3 have a very unique, niche tonality. Lean, dry and bright. I would expect the Fiio to sound nothing like that. In fact, I keep the T3 precisely for that reason, because nothing else sounds like them.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Lypertek Tevi vs. ASL2P Which one has the better, more balanced and detailed sound?

    The discovery thread!

Don't worry. They'll find a way of marketing it and painting its terrible conductivity as an SQ improvement, and people will lap it up.
