It's not "real" 7.1, nothing in any headset really is. But Mobius is about the best fake 7.1 I've ever heard in a headset.

Mobius is pretty much identical to Orbit S (except for Bluetooth) and Orbit (except for Bluetooth, headtracking and 3D). So, why buy stuff you aren't going to use unless it's so much less expensive that it doesn't matter? But, does Mmx300 have planar magnetic drivers? If not, that trumps...

Not the expert here, but I don't think that can work. Mobius relies on USB cable for it's audio, plus it's Bluetooth is different (perhaps better) and it has to use what's left to generate it's 3D sound. No room for 2.4. KMann can explain that better, but it's a layman's explanation.
