For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Tidal -> Pietus Maximus w/ MB Card -> Focal Elex Enjoying this new discovery of the band Meadow Meadow. Highlight tracks on first listen are Lucille and Open Sea (the latter really showcases the warmth of the Pietus Maximus pairing).- maslarge

New TOL A&K DAP : the AK Ultima SP1000
Agreed, it’d be nice to push out the previous firmware. Just got my sp1000m (bad timing, I guess) and it’s been a frustrating experience so far with loading my music files. Also have to agree with the volume warning. With my iems, I just had to disable it as I listen above 60.- maslarge

New TOL A&K DAP : the AK Ultima SP1000
Just got a new SP1000M. So far been really enjoying it. One thing I'm noticing is that when I turn the device on sometimes it takes a while for all of the files to index. So initially, some of my albums will be missing. Is there a preferred folder structure that would help improve performance...- maslarge

Ugh too many acronyms. It’s a HQPlayer endpoint. NAA is the streaming protocol.- maslarge

Anyone know if this supports NAA? Would love to use this with HQPlayer. Don’t see any mention anywhere, so I assume not.- maslarge

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I see the real value of this product in using it around your home. That's not something you can do with a Qutest or other desktop DAC, and eliminates the need to have two separate setups for your desk and living area. I definitely can't envision myself carrying this around everyday as a truly...- maslarge

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I just noticed it has airplay. That might be my solution since I have a Mac. I don't really care about audio quality when it's just YouTube or a phone call. I know I was being negative, but I definitely am still really interested in this product!- maslarge

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
It makes sense if I want to use it both on my desktop and around the house. Ideally, I'd like to have it on my desk while I work for the day, and then unplug it for some more serious listening on the couch at night. You can't really do that with a RPI solution. Again, all my listening is through...- maslarge

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I’m pretty disappointed that you lose the USB port in the back. My ideal use case is to play Roon via the 2go but switch to usb if I need to watch a video on my computer. Now, it looks like I’ll need to use an optical connection. And as others have said, that means I’ll have wires coming out of...- maslarge

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
Anyone have any pics of the Hugo 2 on their desks? I’m planning my setup, but it’s kind of a weird device with it’s input locations. From what I’ve read here (specifically, from Rob Watts) optical is the preferred connection. But since that’s located on the front (where the headphone jacks...- maslarge

New Member Introductions thread
Hi all - New poster but long-time lurker. Been in the audiophile scene off and on for a few years now, so still learning. Currently building up my headphone setup. I just got the Ether 2’s (I’m a sucker for a well-designed product) and I’m in the process of acquiring a DAC / amp. Trying to...- maslarge
